Abstract


Bone Regency is a district with positive cases of Covid-19 which continues to increase until now. So that the local government is very strict in urging the public to adhere to health protocols, one of the efforts of the Bone Regency Government in preventing and breaking the chain of the spread of Covid-19 is to issue a Bone Regent Regulation concerning the application of discipline and enforcement of health protocol laws. Based on the results of field observations during a visit to one of the shopping centers in Bone Regency, there are still people who do not comply with wearing masks. Therefore, students of the Regular Community Service Program in Tanete Riattang Subdistrict were moved to help prevent the increasing Covid-19 outbreak. This community service aims to provide free masks to the community to realize the importance of breaking the chain of transmission of Covid-19 which is the most dangerous outbreak because it is transmitted very quickly and can cause death. The method of activity begins with Acceptable, namely the implementation of decision making based on the deliberation process, then transparency (openness), then observation, and the last one is the implementation of work programs accompanied by documentation. The results obtained after being given understanding by students and local Babinsa who helped, namely increasing public awareness about the benefits and importance of using masks. So that the spread and transmission of Covid-19 can be minimized
