Mangrove forest management is important in efforts to preserve the environment in coastal areas. The aim of the research is to determine the impact of mangrove forest rehabilitation activities and mangrove forest management strategies in Saleo Village, Lolak District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research uses a survey approach with direct interviews and field observations. The data collection techniques used are adapted to the data required, including, Direct Observation (Observation), Documentation, Interviews. The analysis technique used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis, namely describing completely and precisely the data obtained from various sources to achieve the research objectives. Mangrove management generally involves various aspects, including monitoring and maintaining the ecosystem, protection against physical damage and pollution, and participation of local communities. Some of the challenges faced in managing mangrove forests include changes in field conditions, community rejection, socio-economic constraints, lack of attention to the long term, lack of coordination and cooperation and climate change and natural disasters. As for the potential of the mangrove ecosystem in the Binuanga coastal area, namely as an ecological function, economic function, social function, controlling coastal erosion and controlling pollution. then the strategies implemented are community-based management, development of conservation areas, rehabilitation and planting of mangroves, pollution control, education and community awareness and collaboration and.
