Abstract


ABSTRACK 

Indonesia is an archipelagic country that is right at the confluence of large plates. These conditions resulted in an abundance of mineral resources, both metallic and non-metallic minerals, as well as oil and gas and geothermal. Sintang District, West Kalimantan, is no exception, which is an area that has abundant natural resource potential. This study aims to identify the distribution of rock and mineral types in Sintang District, precisely in Limau Bhakti Village, Sepauk District. This study uses resistivity and polarization induced geoelectric methods. The measurements used the Ares tool with the Wenner Schlumberger configuration with 4 tracks of 120 meters each and an electrode spacing of 5 meters. After obtaining the 3D model by processing the 2D inversion process, it is suspected that the presence of minerals and rocks is found on all trajectories marked with a range of valuesbetween 2879.86 – 5712.6 Ωm with a resource volume of 16587.32 . Meanwhile, pyrite and quartz mineral anomalies are also found on all tracks which are characterized by a range of chargeability values ranging from 62.615 – 125.23 msec with a resource of 2,451.94 . The direction of distribution of pyrite and quartz minerals and quartz diorite rocks is towards the northeast.
