Abstract


The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of altruism towards readiness to become prospective teachers. This research utilizes quantitative descriptive methods and employs questionnaires for data collection. The sampling technique involves proportional random sampling with 183 students. The validity of the instrument is assessed using Pearson product-moment correlation, and reliability is tested with Cronbach's alpha. Data analysis includes descriptive statistical analysis, simple linear regression analysis and t-tests. The research findings indicate that altruism have a positive and significant effect on the readiness to become prospective teachers. The results highlight that individuals with higher levels of altruism exhibit greater readiness to become teachers.
