THE EFFECT OF USING ZENIUS EDUCATION-BASED LEARNING MEDIA ON STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE SUBJECTS

Abstract


The implementation of Indonesian language learning at SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa has not been optimal. This is because the teacher does not use interesting learning methods or media, so students are less active in participating in the learning process. The use of Zenius Education media in learning Indonesian can provide an alternative way for students to motivate students to study harder. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the use of Zenius Education learning media affects the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa, Gowa Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Zenius Education learning media on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa, Gowa Regency. This research is an experimental research with one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were all students of SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa totaling 1,165 students. This research was conducted from March 10, 2022 to May 10, 2022. The subjects of this research were 35 students of class VIII G. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it has been proven that there is an increase in student learning outcomes for class VIII G SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa can be seen from student learning outcomes through descriptive statistical analysis before using Zenius Education media, the average student score is still below the KKM and after using Zenius Education media. the average score of students increased above the KKM score. It is known that the posttest result score is 91.71, which is greater than the pretest score of 56.28, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of using Zenius Education learning media on student learning outcomes in Indonesian subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa, Gowa Regency.
