DEVELOPMENT OF E-MODULE FOR INTRODUCTION TO EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY AT MUHAMMADIYAH UNIVERSITY OF MAKASSAR

Abstract


This study aims to develop e-module teaching materials using a professional flipbook application in an introductory course on educational technology. The research objectives were to determine needs analysis, design the development of e-module teaching materials and develop e-module teaching materials using a valid, practical and effective professional flipbook application for students to use in introductory courses in educational technology. The development model used refers to the 4D model (Four D-Model) which consists of 4 stages, namely defining, designing, developing and distributing. This research was conducted at the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar with the overall research subject consisting of 3 experts (content experts, media and learning design experts) to measure the validity of the e-module and 30 students to see the practicality and effectiveness of the e-module -module being developed. The results showed that the analysis of the needs of using e-module, students can learn easily absorb or accept and understand the material presented by the lecturer, the development design produces an initial prototype to prepare materials, images, videos that will be imported into e-modules by making the first file using Microsoft. Word, the validation of material experts is very valid and media experts are very valid. The results of the small group test show that student responses can be said to be practical and very practical for field tests involving several students. This shows that the e-module using the professional flipbook application produced in this study is considered very good for use in an introductory course on educational technology. Recommended e-module teaching materials by using the flipbook application can make it easier for students to understand the content of the material being taught so that students' abilities improve more than before, development of e-module teaching materials through several stages, initial analysis, student analysis, task analysis, and objective analysis learning. E-module teaching materials are valid, practical and effective in the introductory course of educational technology. Lecturers are expected to be able to implement e-module teaching materials so that students can be motivated to study more deeply the subject.
