Abstract


This research is a pseudo-experimental research that aims to determine whether or not there is a problem with the application of the Cooperative Learning Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) model to Improve the Attitude of Cooperation of Grade V Students of SD Negeri Tidung, Rappocini District, Makassar City. The free variable in this study is the application of the Cooperative Learning Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) model while the bound variable is the Student Cooperation Attitude. The population in this study was all grade V students of SD Negeri Tidung, Rappocini District, Makassar City as many as 2 classes, while the sample was 15 students from Class VA as an experimental group and 15 students from class VB as a control group.The data from the study were obtained by providing questionnaires as pre-non-test and post-non-test. Data analysis techniques are by using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis showed that the application of the Cooperative Learning Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) model at the first meeting took place in a good category and at meeting II it took place in an excellent category. The results of inferential analysis using an independent sample t-test showed that there were differences in the post-non-test results of the experimental and control classes. This shows that there is an increase in student cooperation attitudes in the experimental group better than the control group. Supported by the N-gain of the experimental group was higher than the control group that obtained the medium category. So it can be concluded that: (1) the learning process by applying the Cooperative Learning Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) model is going very well, (2) student test results show an increase in student cooperation attitudes in learning, and (3) there is a significant influence on the application of the Cooperative Learning Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) model to improve the cooperation attitude of grade V students of SD Negeri Tidung, Rappocini District, Makassar City.
