Analisis Hubungan Hasil Belajar dengan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Peserta Didik Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 13 Makassar

Abstract


This study aims to determine 1) the level of learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. 2) the level of creative thinking ability of class VIII students of SMPN 13 Makassar. 3) the relationship between learning outcomes and the ability to think creatively in class VIII students of SMPN 13 Makassar. This type of research is survey research using a correlational design. The population of this study were all class VIII students at SMPN 13 Makassar for the 2022/2023 academic year, which consisted of 11 classes with a total of 352 students. The research sample was determined by random sampling technique so that a total of 78 students were determined. The instruments used in the research were the learning achievement test instruments given to science subject teachers at the school, and the creative thinking ability test instrument in the form of essay questions containing indicators of the ability to think creatively by 10 questions. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis of learning outcomes are in the moderate criteria with a value of 64 and the ability to think creatively is in the moderately creative criteria with a value of 41. The results of the inferential statistical analysis show that there is a relationship between learning outcomes and the ability to think creatively with the Pearson correlation of 0.271 which indicates that there is a strong relationship low.
