Upaya Meningkatkan Motivasi Dan Hasil Belajar Dengan Penerapan Metode Inquiry Terbimbing Peserta Didik Kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Parepare

Abstract

Penelitian ini  adalah penelitian  tindakan kelas ( Classsroom Action Research) yang  bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Motivasi  dan hasil belajar IPA-Fisika  dikelas VII Negeri 2 Parepare melalui metode inquiry terbimbing.Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII.2 pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019,dengan jumlah siswa 32 orang . Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus,yaitu siklus I yang dilaksanakan 2 pertemuan dan siklus ke II yang dilaksanakan 3 kali pertemuan ,data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes berupa angket dan tes hasil belajar Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan hasil belajar IPA –Fisika melalui metode inquiry terbimbing pada siklus I diperoleh skor rata-rata motivasi sebesar 75 dengan skor maksimun yang dicapai 93,75,dan skor rata-rata hasil belajar yang diperoleh 77 dengan skor maksimun yang dicapai 95 dengan ketuntasan mencapai 71,87%.Pada siklus II diperoleh skor rata-rata motivasi sebesar 80,62 dengan skor maksimunyang dicapai 96,87 ,dan skor rata-rata hasil belajar diperoleh 89,06 dengan skor maksimun 100 dan ketuntasan mencapai 93,75% .Dari hasil rata-rata yang diperoleh pada siklus I dikategorikan rendah dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II dikategorikan tinggi. Sehubungan dengan hasil diatas,maka metode ini cukup efektif diterapkan dalam mengajar ,khususnya bidang studi fisika yang diajarkan diSMP ,karena dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan baik.

This research is classroom action research that aims to increase the motivation and learning outcomes of science-physics in class VII Negeri 2 Parepare through a guided inquiry method. The research subjects were students of class VII.2 in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year, with 32 students. This research was conducted in two cycles, namely the first cycle which was carried out 2 meetings and the second cycle which was carried out 3 meetings, the data in this study were obtained using tests in the form of questionnaires and test results of learning The collected data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The study showed that the motivation and learning outcomes of Science-Physics through guided inquiry method in the first cycle obtained an average score of motivation of 75 with a maximum score of 93.75, and an average score of learning outcomes obtained 77 with a maximum score of 95 with completeness reaching 71.87%. In cycle II obtained an average score of motivation of 80.62 with maximal score reached 96.87, and the average score of learning outcomes obtained 89.06 with a maximum score of 100 and completeness reached 93.75 %. From the average results obtained in the first cycle categorized as low and experiencing an increase in the second cycle categorized as high. In connection with the results above, this method is quite effective in teaching, especially in the field of physics studies taught in the School of Social Sciences, because it can improve students' motivation and learning outcomes well.
