KEEFEKTIFAN PENGGUNAAN MEDIA VIDEO DAN MEDIA ANIMASI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS TEKS PUISI SISWA KELAS VIII MTS DDI TAKKALASI KABUPATEN BARRU

Abstract

Abstract: The results of this study indicate (1) The results of students' learning to write poetry texts using animation media show that: there are no students who are in the very effective, effective, and ineffective categories. Nine students were in the less effective category with an interval of 55–64 with a percentage of (30%); and twenty students were in the quite effective category with an interval of 65–79 with a percentage of (70%). (2) The results of students' learning to write poetry texts using video media show that: there are no students who are in the very effective and ineffective category. Two students are in the effective category with an interval of 80–89 with a percentage of (7%); and twenty five students were in the category of quite effective with an interval of 65–79 with a percentage of (83%). (3) The results of inferential statistical analysis show that the coefficient of difference between the value of writing poetry using video media and the value of writing poetry using animation media in class VIII students obtained a t-count value of -8.866 with 48 degrees of freedom and significance or p-value (2 tailed) = 0.000 because the p-value <0.05 or 0.000 <0.05, then the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Video media is more effectively used in learning to write poetry for class VIII MTs students. DDI Takkalasi, Barru Regency.

Abstrak: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) Hasil pembelajaran menulis teks puisi siswa menggunakan media animasi menunjukkan bahwa: tidak ada siswa yang berada pada kategori sangat efektif, efektif, dan tidak efektif. Sembilan orang siswa berada pada kategori kurang efektif dengan interval nilai 55–64 dengan persentase sebaesar (30%); dan dua puluh siswa berada pada kategori cukup efektif dengan interval nilai 65–79 dengan persentase sebesar (70%). (2) Hasil pembelajaran menulis teks puisi siswa menggunakan media video menunjukkan bahwa: tidak ada siswa yang berada pada kategori sangat efektif dan tidak efektif.  Dua orang siswa berada pada kategori  efektif dengan interval nilai 80–89 dengan persentase sebaesar (7%); dan dua puluh lima orang siswa berada pada kategori cukup efektif dengan interval nilai 65–79 dengan persentase sebesar (83%). (3) Hasil analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan bahwa koefisien beda antara nilai menulis puisi dengan menggunakan media video dengan nilai menulis menulis puisi dengan menggunakan media animasi pada siswa kelas VIII diperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar -8,866 dengan derajat kebebasan 48 dan signifikansi atau p-value (2 tailed) = 0,000 karena nilai p-value < 0,05 atau 0,000 < 0,05, maka hipotesis alternatif (H₁) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H₀) ditolak. Media Video lebih efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII MTs. DDI Takkalasi Kabupaten Barru.
