PERSEPSI GURU TENTANG PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER (STUDI DI MAN 1 BUTON TENGAH)

Abstract


ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) persepsi guru tentang pendidikan karakter, (2) materi yang diberikan guru dalam pendidikan karakter, (3) nilai hasil pembelajaran pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru (pendidik) sebanyak 9 orang terdiri dari guru PPKn, guru Agama, guru Bahasa Indonesia, guru Matematika, guru Kimia, guru Biologi, guru Seni Budaya, guru IPS, guru Olahraga (Penjaskes), dan peserta didik sebanyak 7 orang. Teknik penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Persepsi guru mengenai pendidikan karakter menunjukkan hal yang positif, yang mengintegrasikan materi pendidikan karakter kedalam materi ajar belajar dan pembelajaran mereka, pendidikan karakter diangggap sebagai nilai esensi dalam membentuk dan membentengi kepriabadian peserta didik; (2) Materi (konsep) pendidikan karakter yang disusun dan diajarkan guru (pendidik) disesuaikan dengan substansi isi materi pelajaran tertentu, dengan berbasis pada nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an, Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia (UUD NRI) 1945, Pancasila, serta norma atau aturan yang berlaku; dan (3) Para guru (informan) memberikan penilaian atas materi pendidikan karakter yang dimulai saat proses pembelajaran sampai dengan selesai proses pembelajaran.dalam bentuk penilaian tertulis.

ABSTRACT: This study aims to determine: (1) teachers' perceptions of character education, (2) the material given by teachers in character education, (3) the value of learning outcomes of character education. This research is descriptive research using qualitative approach. Informants in this research are teachers (educators) as many as 9 people consisting of teachers PPKn, Religious teachers, Indonesian teachers, Mathematics teachers, Chemistry teachers, Biology teachers, Cultural Art teachers, Social Studies teachers, Sports teachers (Penjaskes), and learners as much 7 people. The technique of determining the informant using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done by observation, interview, and documentation. The data obtained then processed by descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that: (1) teachers' perceptions of character education show a positive thing, which integrates character education materials into their learning and learning materials, character education is regarded as the essential value in shaping and fortifying the learner's mastery; (2) Character education materials that are prepared and taught by teachers (educators) are adapted to the substance of certain subject matter content, based on Qur'anic values, 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia (UUD NRI) Pancasila, as well as the prevailing norms or rules; and (3) The teachers (informants) provide an assessment of the character education materials that began during the learning process until the learning process is completed. In the form of a written assessment.
