Abstract


This article departs from research development of learning media in the form of video tutorials for scientific writing courses. The problem stems from the many obstacles students have in writing scientific papers, especially in the process of writing the final task, namely Thesis. The problem then drives the development of this video, the goal is for students to learn independently and meet the lack of time in the classroom. The video also features the use of Mendeley references, to compile references so that students avoid copy-paste processes that lead to plagiarism.This Video Media Development Model was adopted in the ADDIE method, the process described in this article through the process of identifying needs, before compiling and developing this video so that it can be used by Education technology students as research subjects. This video has passed the validation process from expert validators in the field of media and content. After the process and this video can already be used as a source of self-learning Students, it is expected to make it easier for students to understand scientific papers.
