Abstract


The Campus Intellectual Product Business
Development Program (PPUPIK) is a community service
program that provides opportunities for universities to earn
income and help to create new business. Through this
program, Biology Experimental Farm (BEF) of Faculty of
Mathematics and Science of Universitas Negeri Makassar
assigned to the program in order to make BEF as profitable
unit as learning resources and carrying out various production
activities of stuff and services which are the implementation of
research results from lecturers and students in Biology
Department. A number of activities carried out included the
production of bokasi, liquid organic fertilizers, fuel husks, and
planting media. Production of viticulture and hydroponic
installations, cultivation of ornamental plants, chicken
breeding, development of media and learning resources and
making BEF as learning resources and a learning destinations
for students in South Sulawesi. In addition, through this
PPUPIK program, improvement and refinement of the biology
experiment garden environment was carried out. PPUPIK
activities in the Biological Experimental Garden involve
students in its various programs.
