KKN PPM berbasis sumber daya pesisir pada wanita nelayan di Kabupaten Barru

Abstract


The program activities of the KKN PPM aims to
enhance students' awareness and empathy towards the
problems facing the village community service learning, so
that changes the behavior of the students, and the target group.
In addition to empowering the women of fishermen Villages
Pancana and Alumpangeng Sub Tanete Rilau, Barru Regency
in the framework of the achievement of the targets have been
formulated. Specific targets to be achieved is the increase in
production and quality of processing fish that used to offer it
only drained, but through KKN PPM is, people are invited to
fish processing into other products such as meatballs and
shredded fish, brain-brain-based foods as well as other fish.
With a better processing and hygienic and attractive packaging,
strengthening the institutional system a group of marine fish,
the fisherman's increased income and crafters community due
to the production of processed fish products increased, the fish
of the sea be qualified and have high competitiveness. As well
as the formation of the villages of Pancana and Alumpangeng
as a model village for the production of sea fish products that
are valued economically. The strategy used is the
empowerment of the target group approach to PRE
(Partisipatory Rural Appraisal) method, with the education,
training, mentoring, demplot and equipped with the techniques
learned while working (learning by doing). Plan activities
include: demplot, training and mentoring are first carried out
socialization through counseling. Training materials include:
(1) Production technology and application of natural
preservative sea fish, (2) technology of the manufacture of
processed sea fish food (the brain-the brain, Nuggets,
meatballs and shredded fish), (3) hygienic food manufacturing
technology and packaging that menarikdengan energy/
firewood, (4) Labelisasi PIRT marine fish food products that
are attractive and hygienic, (5) the application of the healthy
kitchen practices, (6) sea fish food manufacturing technology
and improved nutrition, (7) institutional strengthening of the
group, (8) the strengthening of network marketing.
