Abstract


This activity aims to improve teachers’
understanding SD Inpres Galangan Kapal IV on HOTS based
questions and implement them in making questions. The
activities in this training are 1) understanding the importance
of HOTS-based questions, 2) exploring the correct techniques
in making HOTS-based questions, and 3) practicing making
HOTS-based questions. The results of this training showed
that 1) the training was conducted at SD InpresGalanganKapal
IV Tallo district of Makassar; 2) Observating the orientation to
the problems faced by the teachers regarding making HOTS
questions; 3) Lecture session was conducted to introduce some
materials about the essentials and importance of HOTS
questions; 4) Demonstration in giving direct practice to
participants in making HOTS questions. The result is that the
program is carried out smoothly as planned, participants show
serious interest and attention to the training, teaching and
application materials for making HOTS-based questions.
