Quantum teaching sebagai alternatif model pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan minat berwirausaha mahasiswa

Abstract

Entrepreneurship in university is crucial for
students, thus socialization is important as Quantum Teaching
model. This learning model is chosen since it can lift up
learning atmosphere to be enjoyable, fun, and increase
students’ activeness in learning to develop their interest in
entrepreneurship. This socialization aims to develop students
of Primary School Teacher Education interest in
entrepreneurship. Method used in this socialization are group
meeting and implementing Quantum Teaching. Quantum
Teaching blends all good things in learning to create great
lesson plan to develop entrepreneurship interest. The
socialization was carried out as planned and enjoyable,
because students and everybody enjoy and interest in doing
entrepreneurial activities which will benefit them. Quantum
Teaching is a learning process which provide strategy in
improving teaching and learning activity. Implementation of
Quantum Teaching and learning entrepreneurship is related to
one another since Quantum Teaching helps students to be
more motivated and interested in doing entrepreneurship.
DePorter (2010:88) stated that this learning model guarantees
the students to be motivated and interested in any subject and
grade. As preservice teachers, here lays the role of educators to
be creative and innovative in teaching and learning process
especially in entrepreneurship, knowing that the students
nowadays have opportunities, interest, and motivation to be
better and understand the strategy of entrepreneur to develop
their sense of entrepreneurship.
