Pelatihan perawatan dan perbaikan peralatan elektronik rumah tangga bagi Kelompok Tuna Daksa

Abstract

This training activity aimed to enable disabled
participants to gain additional knowledge and abilities related
to the field of electronics, especially repairs and maintenance
of household electronic equipment, which can be used as a
provision for independent living in the community. The
training process was performed using lecture and
demonstration methods as well as direct practice. After that,
the mentoring program was conducted to evaluate the
participants' ability to the material provided. As the evaluation,
participants’ was given damaged household electronics to be
repaired. The results of this training activity were that the
training participants presented agreement statements with a
mean score of 4.20 from the four assessment criteria, including
the competitiveness of human resources, application of science
and technology, community values and implementation of
service. In addition, questions about the entrepreneurial spirit
got a score of 4.11, an explanation of the work procedure by
the speaker is easy to understand (score 4.20) and the skills
acquired in this training are needed by the surrounding
community (score 4.40). Finally, the partner manager's
response to this activity was very positive. This activity was
also beneficial for participants and partners. They hope that
this activity will be continued in the following years with more
participants.
