Abstract


This community partnership program focuses on
processing dried fish into chips and abon. This program aims
to train the fish drying group (partner) to have: (1) knowledge
that fish that have been dried can be processed into chips and
abon, (2) insight to process dried fish into chips and shredded
fish, (3) skill in making chips from dried fish, (4) skill in
making abon from dried fish, (5) insights on packaging
techniques for chips and abon, (6) skills in choosing packaging
for dried chips and abon, (7) knowledge about entrepreneurship,
and (8) hygienic drying. This training is expected to help the participants to produce delicious and hygienic chips and abon from dried fish. In delivering the materials in this training, several methods employed such as lectures, discussion, question and answer session, and direct demonstrations.
