Pelatihan perancangan pembelajaran matematika berbasis proyek sebagai upaya penanaman karakter siswa SMP di Kabupaten Bulukumba

Abstract

The program aims to improve mathematics
teachers’ understandings as well as skills related to designing
project based mathematics activities that enhance character
education in mathematics classes. Participants of the program
are lower secondary mathematics teachers in the District of
Bontotiro, Bulukumba. The program presents three main
contents, 1) socialization of the K13 curriculum and policies
related to the demands of the recent mathematics teaching, 2)
short lecture and training on designing project based
mathematics learning, and 3) short lecture and training on
character education in mathematics classes. The activities end
up with the improvement in the knowledge and the skills of
teacher-participants in designing project based mathematics
learning with the basis of character education.
