Peningkatan keterampilan teknis penghuni panti melalui pelatihan instalasi listrik sederhana

Abstract

Increasing the skills of the residents of the
orphanage must always be carried out continuously. The
factors underlying this include: the increase in the number of
orphanages especially in big cities and so with residents who
need a place to live. They come from various backgrounds.
Funding for orphanages is still very hopeful for benefactors
and the local government. But the financing is not relied on
sustainably and constantly. On the other hand, in general the
residents are in the productive age category, so it is very
possible for them to be able to finance themselves. Providing
technical skills and building the spirit of entrepreneurship is
one effort to reduce dependence on other parties. This was
done by the UNM service team at the Miftahul Khair
orphanage in Makassar City. The results obtained from this
activity are assisted by the manager in preparing the future of
the occupants. The skills of the participants increased in
simple electricity installations. Besides that their desire for
entrepreneurship began to emerge.
