Pengembangan sistem dan teknologi home industry Kanrejawa Bannang-Bannang di Kabupaten Jeneponto

Abstract

The community development is always associated with poverty. Nowadays, poverty is not only Indonesians' problem but becomes one of world issues. Eventhough the poverty level of Indonesians still high but everyone has the right to live well. Therefore, to anticipate the increasing number of poor people, one of the government's efforts through Student Community Service-Community Empower- ment (KKN-PPM) is to open opportunity to help the community by cooperating with universities that have sufficient human resources. One of the efforts is developing home industries in the target villages. It is known that home industry is the backbone of the nation's economy, which survive in times of crisis. Therefore, with additional activities will help most citizen to have a better life. The method used in this program are visiting the community that would be fostered, organizing home industry groups of traditional cake Bannang- Bannang, organizing a training to improve product quality, organizing a training on packaging and labeling, training in business analysis and business development, exhibition, and conduct a comparative study to center of industry in Makassar.
