Abstract


Traditional games are multi-game play and need active movements from those who play them. Compared to high-tech games in this modern era, it barely takes a movement, make children lazy to move, lazy to interact and tend to, create their virtual word where they can play. Traditional games introduces children to variety of movements, which contain elements in exercising. Introduction to traditional games to children nowadays is needed as they are not common to children. During the development period, children are highly required to be actively moving for the sake of their growth. It is in accordance with the characteristics of the children that their world is playing at this age. However, children nowadays are tend to be passive, less movement because of the many modern games that will continue to emerge and erode traditional games. Through this socialization, our team wants to bring back traditional games with games that commonly played in the environment where researchers were born, Barru regency of South Sulawesi.
