Abstract


The objectives of this service are (1) Improving the knowledge and skills of the target group so that they can manage
waste into compost and liquid organic fertilizer; (2) Introducing composter appropriate technology for the community as a tool
for the composting process; (3) Providing knowledge and skills of the target group community to be able to meet the nutritional
needs of the family through the management of the yard as a food house (vegetables); The results of the implementation of the
learning and community empowerment program show: (1) the number of participants actively participating in this learning and
empowerment program is 90 people who are Raskin recipients; (2) the trainees have knowledge and skills in making
hydroponics, liquid organic fertilizer (POC), and composting; (3) 1 (one) hydroponic model house was formed in Lautang
Benteng Village. It is recommended to the Regional Government that community learning and empowerment through the
development of organic resources-based organic agricultural products to improve the family's opinion so that assistance is
intensely carried out in order to improve people's lives.
