Abstract


Implementation of Classroom Action Research (CAR) while teaching is almost a necessity. Imagine, by teaching while implementing CAR, a teacher gets a double benefit. First, the teacher teaches scientific discipline and second, the teacher obtains information or data on which part of a learning that needs to be addressed. The methods adopted in implementing CAR in learning are as follows; (1) Train and guide teachers to write PTK proposals according to their respective fields of study; (2) Check and evaluate proposals that have been made, whether it is feasible to continue, revise, or if necessary be made again, so that they really understand about the plan of implementing the CAR. (3) Train and guide teachers to create and develop instruments, related to proposals that have been made (4) Train and guide teachers to give weight and assessment and predictors related to instruments that are ready to be used to retrieve research data (5) Train and guide teachers to take / collect data using the instruments referred to in points 3) and 4) above; (6) Train and guide analyzing research data, and (7) Train and guide teachers to make a final report of the CAR research that they do in accordance with their respective fields of study. The results obtained through community service are as follows; (1) 90% of teachers participating in training understand how to conduct CAR in their classes, (2) National Scientific Publication Seminar on September 20, 2019 at PT. Erlangga Publisher, (3) Scientific Publication in the form of a National Reference Book entitled Classroom Action Research (Theory and Practice) with ISBN 979,604,300.9, published by pustaka Ramadhan, Bandung, Anggota IKAPI Jawa Barat No. 065/JBA.
