Abstract

Web-based teaching material is a learning that can be accessed through the internet network. Popular web-based learning as web-based traning (WBT) or sometimes also called web-based education (WBE) can be defined as a web technology application in the world of learning for an educational process offered in web-based learning is speed and is not limited to space and time to access information. Learning activities can be easily done by teachers and students anytime and anywhere. As long as the computers are connected to the internet network will make it easy for anyone to get information. How to learn through the web the main requirements that must be met are access to sources of information via the internet. Furthermore, there is information about where the source of information that we want to get. There are several data sources that can be accessed freely and for free, without a complicated administrative access process. There are several sources of information that are only accessed by parties who have been authorized by the owner of the information source. Web-based learning is one type of application of electronic learning (e-learning). E-learning learning is a process and activity of implementing web-based learning, computer-based learning, virtual classrooms, and digital classes. Based on the identification of the results of the study it can be concluded that the purpose of the implementation of e-learning web-based teaching materials in SMK Negeri 2 Barru has not been achieved and has not gone well. Seen from the many problems that occur in the implementation process, both in terms of HR, Material and Infrastructure, in fact there are still many obstacles faced. The Barru City Education and Culture Office's policy on improving access to quality 12-year primary and secondary education has not been achieved at SMK Negeri 2 Barru. Implementation of e-learning can provide convenience for both teachers and students in learning within the school environment and outside the school environment.
