Abstract

Partners of the community partnership program (PKM) are motorcycle taxi community. The problem that is often found by motorcycle taxi drivers is the frequent damage to motorbikes. meanwhile, in general, the motorcycle taxi drivers cannot overcome it themselves, so they have to go a motorcycle repair shop,  This causes a loss of time and of course has to pay service fees and their income is clearly reduced and even tends to be non-existent or a loss if by chance the motorcycle used is a rented motorcycle. This motorcycle servicing and repair training in Galesong aims to provide motorcycle taxi riders with the ability to know how to operate a motorcycle properly, to find and repairing damage, especially damage that occurs suddenly such as damage to the fuel system and engine ignition system. The methods used in the delivery of material are discourse, discussions, questions and answers, demonstrations and simulations as well as hands-on work practices. while the evaluation used is direct observation of the participants when doing free service. Success criteria used are if the participant can make adjustments in the engine fuel system. Based on observations, around 75% of participants were able to revive the motor that had been repaired and adjusted. This activity turned out to be able to improve the knowledge and skills of motorcycle taxi drivers in terms of how to operate a motorcycle, diagnose damage, repair and adjust the motorcycle.
