Peningkatan kualitas lingkungan hidup masyarakat melalui PKW Desa Congko Kabupaten Soppeng

Abstract

The Congko Village Regional Partnership Program (PKW) is in line with the Soppeng District Medium Term Development Plan for 2015-2019 with one of the problems being: (1) there is still a slum environment, (2) Waste management is still low, (3) Landfills trash not yet available. So that the solution to the problem is (1) procurement of environmental education programs for the community, (2) Formation and assistance of partner groups making organic fertilizer and (3) making demonstration plots of plants in the yard of villagers' homes. The methods used are: Training, mentoring and demonstration plots. The results achieved were (1) increasing community knowledge about household waste management, (2) the formation of a clean and green environment (the use of home plots as a demonstration plot), (3) the formation of compost and kascing fertilizer processing groups.
