PKM pelatihan Olimpiade Nasional Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (ONMIPA) bagi calon guru matematika di Kota Makassar

Abstract


The partner of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) was a departement of matehmatics, facuty of mathematics and natural sciences, state university of makassar, with participants being math teacher candidates in the city of Makassar consisting of mathematics study programs and mathematics study programs in Makassar involving participants in the national Mathematics and Mathematics Olympiad (ON - MIPA). The purpose of this activity is to: a) improve the knowledge and skills of prospective mathematics teachers in understanding the concept of the material that will be contested in the ON-MIPA; b) increasing the knowledge of prospective teachers about the ON-MIPA competition which is held every year by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education c) increasing the mathematics teacher candidates in the ONMIPA competition; b) The low insight of prospective teachers about ONMIPA competitions c) There is no specific strategy possessed by prospective mathematics teachers in ONMIPA competitions. The method used is training, mentoring, and discussion between implementers and prospective mathematics teachers in Makassar. The method used in the partner group which denied 20 people and subsequently conducted assessments and monitoring conducted for 3 months The expected outputs were: 1) Skills and changes in the understanding of prospective mathematics teachers about the concept of material contested in ONMIPA; 2) Increased insight into prospective mathematics teachers about ONMIPA; 3) Publication on electronic media or continuing national seminars. 3) There are training participants who qualified for the finals at ONMIPA in 2019.
