Abstract

Excellent transaction service is one of the basic functions of library. One important factor in such services is the availability of reliable reference (library material) information systems so that the information can be obtained quickly and accurately. The purpose of this research is to get the design of library information system at department of PTA that suitable with user requirement, especially information of transaction and reporting. The research method is Research and Development with design using waterfall model. The results of this study is a system of information designed to be used properly based on information system performance standards and meet the requirements of good information systems based on user responses.
