Modal Psikologis dan School Engagement pada Mahasiswa

Abstract


Abstrak. School engagement yang tinggi akan berdampak positif terhadap prestasi akademik dan  kompetensi emosi. Akan tetapi beberapa mahasiswa  memiliki school engagement yang rendah seperti kurang terlibat dalam pembelajaran, kurang mempunyai usaha yang baik untuk teribat dalam proses belajar mengajar baik di dalam kelas maupun diluar sekolah. Salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh adalah modal psikologis. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat hubungan antara modal psikologis dengan school engagement. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal psikologis mempunyai hubungan positif dengan school engagement. Mahasiswa yang memiliki modal psikologis tinggi diprediksi memiliki school engagement yang tinggi.
