Dampak Intensitas Penggunaan Corrective Feedback Terhadap Pengembangan Self-Confidence dan Self-Expression Mahasiswa pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris

Abstract


Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak intensitas pemberian corrective feedback pada pengembangan self-confidence dan self-expression mahasiswa melalui komunikasi daring sinkron dan asinkron pada pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dimana peneliti mendeskripsikan intensitas corrective feedback dosen dalam proses pembelajaran dan pengajaran bahasa Inggris melalui media komunikasi sinkronus dan asinkronus yang mampu memengaruhi perkembangan self-confidence dan self-expression mahasiswa dalam belajar bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian corrective feedback oleh dosen pengampu mata kuliah keterampilan produktif dan reseptif dan mata kuliah konsep bahasa Inggris baik melalui media komunikasi sinkronus maupun asinkronus mampu memengaruhi self-confidence mahasiswa dengan level atau tingkat yang berbeda dalam belajar bahasa Inggris. Lebih lanjut hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas pemberian corrective feedback oleh dosen pengampu mata kuliah keterampilan produktif dan reseptif dan mata kuliah konsep bahasa Inggris baik melalui media komunikasi sinkronus maupun asinkronus mampu memengaruhi self-expression mahasiswa dalam belajar bahasa Inggris. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa intensitas pemberian corrective feedback oleh dosen dapat memengaruhi self-confidence dan self-expression mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris.
