Abstract


The focus of the problem in this study is: how is the application of the Complete Sentence (CS) Cooperative learning model in mastering German vocabulary (Wortschatz) for students of the German Language Study Program Department of Foreign Language Education, Faculty of Language and Literature, Makassar State University? ". The aim is to produce textbooks in learning German vocabulary (Wortschatz) based on the Complete Sentence Type Cooperative learning model (CS). This research is a Quasi Experiment Designs research. The design used is the Two Group Pretest Posttest Design. The initial test (pretest), treatment (treatment) and final test (posttest) were applied in this study in order to find the effectiveness of the application of the Cooperative Learning Model Type Complete Sentence (CS). in teaching German vocabulary (Wortschatz). Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the Complete Sentences (CS) type of Cooperative learning model is effective in mastering German vocabulary (Wortschatz) students of the German Language Study Program, Department of Foreign Language Education, Language and Literature Faculty, Makassar State University. his is evidenced from the results of the t-test analysis on the students' post-test scores after the t-test was carried out in each group with the results of data analysis namely th = 8.83> tt = 2.004 at a significance level of 0.05.
