Abstract


Abstract: The integrated biology module of character education contains specific materials systematically arranged with practice exercises so that students can learn independently and the content of character education such as religi, honest, and curiosity. This research is a pre experimental research that aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of Biology module in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes. The sample of this research is class XI MIA 1 MAN 2 Makassar Academic Year 2017/2018 as many as 37 people. Student affective learning outcomes used are validated observation sheets before use. Data were analyzed using descriptive data analysis. The results showed that the average religious values and honest students are 3.97 with very good category, and the honest value of students is 3.00 with good category. These results indicate that the use of an integrated biology module of character education is effective in improving students' affective learning outcomes.
