Abstract


Abstract: Module is a printed teaching material designed for students to study independenty. The study aims at developing Inquiri-based Biology learning module on Evolution Theory Material which is valid, practical and effective. Instruments used in collecting the research data were questionnaire for two assessor, questionnaire for teacher’s respons and students’ response on the module develop, and test of  learning result. Data colection becane basic to develop and test the module.  The module developed was tested at SMAN 1 Pulau-plau Terselatan, Maluku Barat Daya District. The results of the study reveal that the learning module is in a valid category with mean validity 4.15 and 83.15%. Based on module, validity, then module was then tested to small group at the research site and its implementation indicates that the module is practical with mean validity of teacher’s response 4.13 and 83%. It is also effective to be appliad whit student’s interpretation on  Biology is high because it is  able to improve learning result by 11,8%. Based on the result of the study, the Biology learning module  is stated as valid, practical and effective to be applied in Biology kearning.
