Abstract


Abstract:     The use of media in learning is one way in teaching the abstract concept  of biology material. Media functions, especially Audio Visual, among others, make abstract material be concrete. Audio Visual media is quite popular is the video. The advantage of learning with video is to present representations of images and sounds of an idea or event to learners in class. This study was conducted with the aim to find out the application of learning videos to motivation and learning outcomes in terms of student learning styles consisting of audio, visual and kinestetik class XI SMA MIPA. This research is a quasi experiment with research design using Factorial Design 2x3. The study design concerned the possibility of moderating variables affecting treatment (independent variables) on outcomes (dependent variables). This research was conducted at SMA Islam Athirah 1 Makassar. The data in this study using data of student learning outcomes, student learning motivation data obtained from questionnaires, and student learning style data using the instrument in the form of questionnaires. Data were analyzed in descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with anacova test analysis. The results obtained a significant value of  0,000 <0,05 which means H0 rejected and H1 accepted. This shows that there is influence of learning video to motivation and result of student learning of audio, visual and kinesthetic class XI MIPA SMA Islam Athirah 1 Makassar on Material Regulation System.
