Abstract


Abstract:     The main challenge of Indonesia is the ability to improve the quality of education and efforts that can be done. This is inseparable from the role and duties of teachers. Learners in schools are generally teacher-centered then the need for innovation in teaching and learning process. The teacher can do the right teaching strategy. PAIKEM (Learning, Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, Fun) is a student-centered strategy that teachers can choose from. The purpose of this study to determine the influence of PAIKEM strategy on student motivation and learning outcomes. This research is a descriptive research by collecting data through literature study. The implementation of the PAIKEM strategy shows that creating an active, innovative, creative, fun learning environment makes students not feel bored and stimulates creativity, a way of learning that makes students feel good about motivating students, enthusiasts and more actively, interested students will focus on the material given and will better understand the material so as to improve student learning outcomes.
