Abstract

Abstract:     The type of the study is research and development (R&D) which aims to develop Constructivistic Biology Modules Computer Assisted for High School Students of Grade XI even semester which is valid, practical, and effective. The stage of the research and development referred to ADDIE development model which consisted of 5 stages, namely (1) analyze; (2) design; (3) development; (4) implementation; and evaluation.  The instruments of the research consisted of three, namely (1) validity instrument in a form of validity assessment instrument of modules and questionnaire validity assessment; (2) practicality instrument in a form of teachers and student’s responses questionnaire on modules and observation sheet of learning implementation; anda (3) effectiveness instrument in a form of student affective questionnaires and learning result evaluation test. Based on the data analysis, it is obtained the average of modules validity by two expert assessors by 4,3. The practicality of the modules obtained from the teachers’ responses is 93.33% (very strong) and the students’ responses is 33.33% (very strong) and 66.67% (strong), while for the average result of total learning activity is obtained as big as 1.56 which is in the category of the whole. The effectiveness of the medules is obtained from the affective data of 16.67% students who are in very strong category and 76.67% are in the strong category and 86% of the students reach learning completeness score. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that Constructivist Biology Modules Computer Assisted developed is valid, practical, and effective.
