Abstract


ABSTRACT
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is transmitted through mosquito bites from the genus Aedes, especially Ae. Aegypti and Ae. Albopictus. DHF was found in a total of 142 cases of puskesmas working areas in Tolitoli Regency. This activity aims to determine the density index and identify potential types of water reservoirs for breeding A.aegypti mosquito larvae. This type of research is descriptive with a cross sectional design. The locations where the survey was conducted were Sendana, Panasakan and Tambun Villages, Tolitoli Regency. The larvae survey was conducted on 100 houses from each location so that a total sample of 300 households. Based on the value of House Index and Bretau Index Tolitoli Regency has a high density, while based on the Container Index value Tolitoli Regency has a medium density, Type Free Type (ABJ) of Tolitoli Regency is still below the established national standard of 95%, the type of container where mosquitoes breed DHF is a bucket.
