Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to determine the potential of flipped classroom learning methods as innovative solutions to biology learning. This study uses a method with the type of research developed with the study of literature by using literature and conducting studies on literature in the form of textbooks, journals, and relevant research results. In various studies conducted by experts it was stated that the classroom flipped learning model has been proven to be able to increase students' active metacognitive abilities, and to make students more creative and innovative. The results showed that the use of the flipped classroom method as a learning model had a positive effect and could improve students' independent learning abilities, increase creativity, and facilitate students to have a better understanding of the concepts of learning being taught.  Keywords: Blended learning, Flipped Classroom, Biology Learning
