The objective of this journal is to publish original, fully peer-reviewed articles on a variety of topics and research methods in sciences, mathematics, statistics, education, and applied science. The journal welcomes articles that address common issues in mathematics, sciences, statistics, education, applied science, and cross-curricular dimensions more widely.

SAINSMAT: Jurnal Ilmiah Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam is published by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Universitas Negeri Makassar in cooperation with the Himpunan Peneliti dan Pendidik Biologi Indonesia (HPPBI). This journal is published twice a year, in March and September. It is nationally accredited (SINTA 4) and is managed by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia under the reference number  10/E/KPT/2019.
