Abstract
This research examines the low ability to recognize flat shapes in class IV blind children at SLB Negeri 1 Maros. The formulation of the problem in this research is “How to improve the ability to recognize flat shapes in class IV blind students at SLB Negeri 1 Maros after being given a flat shape puzzle?”. The aim of this research is to find out: 1) The ability to recognize flat shapes in blind children at SLB Negeri 1 Maros. 2) The ability to recognize flat shapes after using the puzzle game for blind children at SLB Negeri 1 Maros. 3) Increasing the ability to recognize flat shapes through the puzzle game for blind children in class IV at SLB Negeri 1 Maros with a descriptive type of research. The subjects in this research were blind children in class IV at SLB Negeri 1 Maros before implementation the flat shape puzzle was included in the unable category and after the implementation of the flat shape puzzle in mproved and entered the very capable category.
