PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL PADA MATA KULIAH TEKNIK SEPEDA MOTOR

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Actian Research) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif FT UNM yang berjumlah 45 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui pemberian tes pada setiap akhir siklus sesuai dengan materi yang diajarkan sebelumnya pada setiap siklus dan observasi langsung pelaksanaan tindakan. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh adanya peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa secara kuantitatif, peningkatan ini terlihat pada hasil belajar mahasiswa pada tes awal memperoleh nilai rata-rata 64,40 dengan persentase ketuntasan 46,67%, pada siklus I nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 78,10 dengan persentase ketuntasan 71,11%, dan selanjutnya nilai rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa meningkat menjadi 86 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 100% pada siklus II. Secara kualitatif terjadi perubahan keaktifan dan perhatian mahasiswa selama pelaksanaan tindakan yaitu meningkatnya keaktifan mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan tugas-tugas, menambah keberanian mahasiswa dalam mengemukakan pendapat, serta terciptanya suatu kondisi proses pembelajaran yang menyenangkan didalam kelas. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis audio visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif FT UNM.

Abstract
This research is a classroom action research aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes. Object of this study is Studies of The Mechanical Engineering Education Departement Engineering Faculty of UNM totaling 45 people. Data collection techniques used is through the provision of a test at the end of each cycle in accordance with the material previously taught in each cycle and the direct implementation of the action observation. The results of this study showed an increase in student results quantitatively, the increase was seen in an average score of student learning outcomes at the beginning of the test to obtain an average value of 64.40 with a percentage 46.67% of completeness, in the first cycle the average value increased to 78.10 with a percentage of 71.11% completeness, and then the average value of the learning outcomes of students increased to 86 by the percentage of completeness of 100% in the second cycle. Qualitatively changes the activity and attention of the student during the execution of the action is the increased activity of students in tasks, add courage students to express their opinions, as well as creating a fun learning process conditions in the classroom. The results of this study it can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media-based learning can improve student learning outcomes Studies of The Mechanical Engineering Education Departement Engineering Faculty of UNM.
