Abstract


The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students’ in class V UPTD SD Negeri 56 Parepare. The problem in this study is how the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can improve the learning process of students in class V UPTD SD Negeri 56 Parepare and whether the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can improve student learning outcomes in class V UPTD SD Negeri 56 Parepare?. The purpose of this research is to find out the application of Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can improve student learning process in class V UPTD SD Negeri 56 Parepare and find out the application of Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can improve student learning outcomes in class V UPTD SD State 56 Parepare. The approach used is a qualitative approach and the type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects in this study were teachers and students of class V UPTD SD Negeri 56 Parepare in the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 25 students consisting of 16 boys and 9 girls. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis   technique used is qualitative data analysis techniques. The research was carried out in two cycles. Based on the data obtained during the implementation of the first cycle, it was found that the results of the  research on the learning process were in sufficient qualification (C) and the learning test results were in the less qualification (K). While in the second cycle the research results on the learning process were in good qualification (B) and the learning test results were in good qualification (B). The conclusion of this study is that applying the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can improve the learning process and student learning outcomes on the type of business material by processing natural resources in class V UPTD SD Negeri 56 Parepare.
