RETORIKA is a journal dedicated to publishing high-quality manuscripts that focus on the interaction between language and culture. This initiative supports the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL 2022–2032), as proclaimed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and declared by the United Nations General Assembly (Resolution A/RES/74/135). We emphasize studies on language use and cultural integration in multilingual and multicultural contexts. Our aim is to play a significant role in advancing research centered on the preservation, revitalization, and promotion of indigenous languages worldwide. By supporting the International Decade of Indigenous Languages, this journal serves not only as a platform for academics and practitioners but also as a strategic partner in global efforts to ensure the sustainability and advancement of indigenous languages as part of humanity's cultural heritage.

RETORIKA provides a platform for innovative and interdisciplinary research that explores, documents, analyzes, and develops strategies to protect linguistic and cultural heritage. We position ourselves at the forefront of efforts to revive often-overlooked cultural identities and amplify the voices of minority languages. This journal is a strategic arena for creating tangible impacts on the preservation of irreplaceable linguistic and cultural heritage. Amid the currents of globalization that often obscure diversity, we invite researchers to transcend conventional boundaries, delve into the dynamic interactions between language and culture, and formulate solutions to sustain the relevance and vitality of indigenous languages in the modern era.

RETORIKA is committed to upholding academic integrity and ensuring the quality of every published article. The article selection process is conducted rigorously through authoritative peer review, involving experts in language and education from leading academic institutions. Each submitted manuscript is evaluated based on originality, scientific contribution, methodological validity, and relevance to the journal’s scope. By adhering to the principles of double-blind peer review, we guarantee an objective and unbiased evaluation process. This commitment supports the transparent, accurate, and responsible development of knowledge while contributing significantly to the academic community and society at large.

We encourage scholars to be part of a transformative intellectual journey by contributing their thoughts and insights through RETORIKA. Our journal seeks cutting-edge works that present the latest findings, empower communities, and inspire new directions in the study of language and culture.
