Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine how social and economic institutions contribute to improving the achievements of shooting athletes in Indonesia. The achievements of shooting athletes are greatly influenced by social and economic institutions, including adequate facilities, infrastructure, coaching programs, government regulations, and community support. This research literature review offers in-depth information on how social and economic dynamics in Indonesia help shooting athletes perform better. From an economic perspective, one important prerequisite is the availability of sufficient funds to support infrastructure, facilities, and training programs. Therefore, efforts to improve the achievements of Indonesian shooting athletes must consider these factors comprehensively and holistically. In conclusion, to produce high-achieving athletes who can make Indonesia proud in the international arena, it is necessary to build infrastructure and facilities for athlete coaching, improve quality human resources, and strengthen collaboration between local governments, sports federations, and experts in their fields.
