Efektivitas Assasment Portofolio Pertumbuhan (Growth Portofolio) Dalam Meningkatkan Proses dan Hasil Belajar Siswa (telaah pada pokok bahasan redoks dan elektrokimia)

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas assasment portofolio pertumbuhan (growth portofolio) dalam meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar bidang studi kimia siswa kelas XII-IPA, khususnya pokok bahasan “Reaksi redoks dan elektrokimia”. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII-IPA semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2010/2011 SMA Negeri 5 Palu yang berjumlah 4 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 130 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik acak kelas dan diperoleh kelas XII-IPA dengan jumlah siswa 36 orang. sebagai obyek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ; (1). Penerapan assasment portofolio pertumbuhan efektif membantu siswa dan guru memantau perkembangan dalam pembelajaran kimia. (2). Penerapan assasment portofolio pertumbuhan efektif dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran kimia, dan (3). Pendekatan assasment portofolio pertumbuhan efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness assasment growth portfolio (growth portfolio) in improving the process and results of the study of chemistry students studying the field of class XII-IPA, in particular the subject of "redox reactions and electrochemistry". The study population was all students in grade XII-IPA odd semester of the academic year 2010/2011 SMA 5 Hammer 4 classes totaling 130 students by the number of people. Using a random sampling technique classes and class XII-IPA obtained by the number of students 36 people. as objects of research. The results showed that: (1). Assasment effective implementation of the growth portfolio to help students and teachers to monitor progress in learning chemistry. (2). Assasment application of portfolio growth can effectively improve the quality of the learning process chemistry, and (3). Assasment growth portfolio approach can effectively improve student learning outcomes.
