ABSTRACT

This study examines the Descriptive Study of Local Wisdom of Coffee Farming Communities This research aims to: 1) To find out the socio-economic life of the coffee farming community in Lembang Limbong Sangpolo, Kurra District, Tana Toraja Regency 2) How is local wisdom in a series of coffee processing processions in Lembang Limbong Sangpolo District Kurra, Tana Toraja Regency. This study uses qualitative research methods. The data collection process was carried out by interviewing 2 land owners, 8 local coffee farmers. The researcher then collected data by conducting observations, interviews and collecting documentation. The results of this study indicate that there are: 1) a good interaction relationship between land owners and coffee farmers, it is true that there is a pattern of cooperation in the social system that exists in two groups and forms a unity so that there is a reciprocal relationship between those who have certain goals to achieve good results. . 2) Local Wisdom of the Coffee Farming Community in Lembang Limbong Sangpolo, Kurra District, Tana Toraja Regency is no longer what it used to be, from the way coffee is processed. This is certainly experiencing a shift because it is influenced by Modernization or Shifting Times.
