Science study result of class VII E students Junior High School 3 Labakkang is still low, it is indicated by only 68% of students had passed the learning in the Mid-test academic year 2020/2021. The study low result is caused by the learning proccesed just used conventional learning model. Therefore, the researcher chose the Problem Based Learning model to solve the problem. The purpose of this research was to improve Science studies learning achievement using the Problem Based Learning Model. This research was a classroom action research with three cycle. Each cycle consist of four steps, they are planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this research were the 25 of class VII E students Junior High School 3 Labakkang. Based on the research result, the study result in cycle I was 50%. It was improve in cycle II. In cycle II 64,29% of students had reach the learning standard. The significant improvement can be seen in cycle III 76,92% of students had reach the learning standard. Analysis of the research results showed that more than 75% of students had reach the learning standard. It may be conclude that Problem Based Learning model could improve the Science studies cognitive learning achievement on environmental pollution of class VII E students Junior High School 3 Labakkang.
