Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Materi Sistem Pernapasan melalui Model Problem Based Learning Metode Diskusi di SMPN 3 Balusu Satap

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to 1) find out the improvement in science learning outcomes of students on the human respiratory system material in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Balusu Satap for the 2020/2021 academic year through the Problem Based Learning model 2) Describe the application of the PBL method in the learning process of respiratory system materials. in grade VIII junior high school. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a learning process that invites students to think critically to improve their learning outcomes from the previous learning process. This research consists of three cycles where each cycle has stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects used were class VIII, which consisted of 30 students consisting of 12 male students and 18 female students. After three cycles of learning have been carried out, it can be seen that in the first cycle, 67% of students completed and 33% of students who did not complete were completed. In cycle II, there were 77% of students who completed and 23% of students who did not complete. While in cycle III, students who complete reach 93% and those who do not complete 7%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning method can improve learning outcomes in science learning.
