Implementasi Pendekatan Saintifik Berbasis Laboratorium Virtual untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains Kelas VIII di SMPN 13 Makassar

Abstract


This study aims to determine: (1) Increase the science process skills of students in class VIII-A & VIII-B at SMPN 13 Makassar, (2) the difference in average scores in science process skills with a virtual scientific approach based of laboratory in class students VIII-A & VIII-B at SMPN 13 Makassar. The population of this study was all students in class VIII of SMPN 13 Makassar. The sample in this study was students in classes VIII-A and VIII-B at SMPN 13 Makassar. The data were analyzed using SPSS Version 21.0. Research results: (1) Increasing the science process skills of students in class VIII-A & VIII-B at SMPN 13 Makassar taught with implementation of scientific approach based of virtual laboratory is in the medium category. (2) There is a difference in the average score on science process skills with a scientific approach based of virtual laborator for students in class VIII-A & VIII-B at SMPN 13 Makassar. This shows that learning by implementing a virtual laboratory-based scientific approach, on substance pressure material and its application in daily life, received a positive response from students, so that the implementation of a virtual laboratory-based scientific approach can be used in the learning process.
